Have you ever felt like parts of your identity are misunderstood—or completely unseen—in the therapy room? Mahima believes that healing begins when we feel seen, safe, and accepted for who we truly are. In her work, she strives to create a supportive space where clients can show up fully—without having to leave any part of their identity at the door.
Mahima works with adults facing a wide range of challenges, including depression, anxiety, trauma, life transitions, identity exploration, and eating disorders. Whether clients are exploring who they are, carrying the weight of generational or personal trauma, or seeking a more grounded, authentic connection to themselves and others, she is here to support them with curiosity, compassion, and cultural humility.
Her approach is warm, collaborative, and rooted in the belief that each client is the expert of their own story. Clients often share that they feel safe, respected, and truly heard in their work together. She draws from culturally responsive, research-informed practices—integrating Humanistic-existentialism, Cultural-relational, Narrative Therapy, Mindfulness, and play-based interventions with younger clients—to tailor therapy to each person’s needs, values, and lived experience.
Mahima also brings a globally informed lens to her work. Originally from India and having lived in several countries, she deeply understands how culture, migration, and identity shape our inner world. She creates space for clients’ heritage, traditions, and unique world-views to be reflected and honored in therapy—so that healing can be reclaimed on their own terms.
She loves working with LGBTQ+ clients and is committed to offering an affirming, inclusive environment for people of all gender identities and sexual orientations. Her work is grounded in intersectionality and attuned to the nuanced realities of those who hold marginalized or multiple identities.
If you’re ready to explore your story in a space that honors your full self, she would love to connect.
